AWS Rekognition Vision, Exploration Slot

Overview

A directory reserved for building with AWS Rekognition, Amazon’s managed computer-vision service (label/face/text detection). At review time it is empty, so it is recorded honestly as an exploration slot rather than a delivered project.

Why It Exists

The studio evaluates managed CV options alongside self-hosted ones (see the TAPO camera object-recognition work). This slot was set aside to spike Rekognition for image/video analysis on AWS.

What We Built

No source remains in the folder. Concrete computer-vision work is evidenced by the sibling repos, live RTSP camera object recognition and the OCR engine evaluation.

Technologies & Approach

N/A in this folder, intended target was AWS Rekognition via the Python SDK. Recorded for completeness and historical traceability.

Outcome / Impact

No deliverable here. Retained as an honest marker of managed-CV exploration; the studio’s demonstrable vision capability lives in the related repositories.
